Upon receiving my Bachelorís Degree in Psychology from Lehigh University I began working with adults with traumatic brain injuries, where I became fascinated with the rehabilitative process and was especially drawn to Occupational Therapy and its emphasis on functional outcomes.† I soon received my Masterís Degree in Occupational Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University and have been specializing exclusively in pediatrics over the past 15 years.
My wife Lauren and I moved to Asheville in 2005 and followed the path that led us to open Higher Ground Pediatric Therapy out of our basement in November of 2010.† Since then we have been blessed with continued growth, offering a range of greater services and granting us the privilege of empowering more children to reach their maximum potential.† In June of 2013 HGPT moved into our new home in Arden and we look forward to providing the highest quality care for years to come.
Lauren and I, and our 4 children, love living and working in Asheville!† We do miss the beaches of New Jersey but love: the people, the sense of community, and getting back in touch with nature. We spend most of our time: hiking, exploring downtown, and playing every sport under the sun!
