Brittany Ellis, MS, OTR/L
I received my Bachelor of Art in Humanities from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and my Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Lenoir-Rhyne University. Since graduating in 2015, I have worked extensively with children, focusing on sensory integration and mental health.
I am a native to Western North Carolina and come from a background rooted in nature, creativity and music. I toured internationally with various artists for many years as a professional violinist. I became interested in the field of Occupational Therapy because it aligns with my creative nature and desire to help others.
My p0st-graduate studies include enrollment in an ongoing 3 year training in Somatic Experiencing®, an approach to trauma resolution. I have also completed a number of continuing educational courses with a focus on providing holistic and mindfulness based services.
